May-23-14 The Yuba elMundo electric bike cargo bike is made for passenger hauling, letting you give your friends a lift while offering a compromise between a bicycle and a car.

The elMundo features a longer frame that provides seating for passengers or space for cargo, and is capable of transporting up to three school-age children and their gear. The rear rack has been integrated into the frame, proving more stability, and can be outfitted with a range of options such as running boards that provide footrests for passengers, bags for carrying goods and a 'board kit' able to support a paddle board or kayak.

The added boost required to perform such hauling feats comes from the bike's 350-watt BionX rear hub motor and 425-watt-hour lithium-ion battery, which give it a top speed of 20 mph and maximum range of about 37 miles.
