Wheel Concept Washes Clothes as You Run

Wheel Concept Washes Clothes as You Run
Jun-17-14
The Wheel washing machine concept runs off human-generated power, combining fitness with the reward of clean clothes.

The hollow, ring-shaped device would be equipped with 'washing balls,' which can be loaded with clothes, soap and water. As the user runs on the treadmill, the canisters would spin to agitate and clean the clothes. The smaller size of the canisters also reduces water use, and any extra generated power would be stored in a battery to be used later.

The Wheel was designed by Si Hyeong Ryu for the 2014 Electrolux Design Competition.

That thing would be a huge unwieldy beast. Good luck getting it to turn, let along keep it up for 30 minutes.
