- Designed an Interactive TV Remote. The problem was how could TV program creators make there programs more interactive. The device gives TV programs the ability to control objects inside the viewers home, making the viewers TV watching experience more interactive.
- Designed a single sensor Maximum Peak Power Tracker for solar arrays. The problem was how to build a cheap single sensor Maximum Peak Power Tracker.
- Helped design a Smart Power Controller for battery powered motors. The problem was how to control battery discharge in a efficient way. The device could let users set a timer for the length of time the motor should run on the battery. Depending on the time the user set, the motors speed would change to meet the optimal discharge rate for the batteries.
