  1. Improved communication to senior management by creating flexible, updateable helicopter view of structural plus vitro-to-PK data (12 dimensional).
  2. Initiated and led a medicinal chemistry/pharmacology/modelling program to apply multivariate design to explore ligand diversity more efficiently.
  3. Took project in two years from high-throughput screening results to late lead optimization. My original analysis withstood repeated challenge, and therefore less valuable series were not pursued
  4. Increased potency of a chemical hit by 1000 in two months. Cellular toxicity also resolved.
  5. Key synthetic organic chemistry challenge resolved; later implemented on a multi-kilogram scale
  6. Learned and implemented the latest thinking on physicochemistry to deliver bioavailability for a chemical series considered very difficult by my superiors.
  7. Can routinely resolve issues with (chemical) compound claims on competitor patent portfolios - I am co-inventor as discovery medicinal chemist on 13 patents.
