Excellent solutions to problems come from utilizing the resources of an entire team: academia, engineering, technical, the market (customer) and experience together will give the greatest potential of synergy and excellence. My attitude is every situation whether negative or positive is a learning experience. The synergy of the team is almost always greater than a team member. The reason I say almost is there are unique occurrences of innovation that have a life of their own. They are overwhelming opportunities for creativity.

The only areas I do not see myself partaking in, are areas of the deepest research, because I would have too much catching up to do, and would not want to hold back the team. An example would be microcircuit design, but the conceptual stage I would feel at ease.

I have repeatedly found resolutions with different companies whether listened to or not that could save upwards to millions of dollars in some instances, at least hundreds of thousands of dollars, and championed these causes whether listened to or not. The vast majority of times the solutions were with minimal expense.
