James Daly's Problem Solving Experience:

1. QUALITY CIRCLE MEETING - In 1982, Pioneered Application of this Japanese Concept to United States Government and Corporate Strategies.
2. As a United States Army Special Agent, one of my responsibilities was code breaking. We tackled one of the most commonly used codes, simple substitution, by researching the frequency of each letter used in the english language. What we developed was the acronym "ETNORIAS." Then, to the character most prevalent in a given text in a coded message, we substituted it with the letter "e." The second most frequently letter was changed to "t" and so forth. What we discovered that once the eight letters in ETNORIAS were applied, we could rely on simple logic to decipher the remaineder of these coded messages. It has been over 30 years since then, and this acronym is still in use, today.
