Jerry Joynson's Problem Solving Experience:
- I have good spacial relationship skills that have allowed me to see improvements through layout changes that have allowed the building of significantly larger capacity plants in the same space through removal of waste. This has created new business opportunities for my current employer which is able to offer larger capacity systems than previously.
- I have introduced a range of new and emerging technologies to my employer as a means to overcome long standing problems.
- I set up a (commercial package) ideas capture and crowd sourcing database at my current employer and now manage that process
- I persuaded BP to be the first to adopt sintered ceramic cyclone technology offshore for sand removal from a PW stream and to install the newly discovered 'Tore' device to lift sand out of production separators.
- I am good at troubleshooting, identifying the essence of a problem which may be hidden in the complexity of a situation, and I see the potential of new ideas and technologies for use in different applications where most might see nothing.
- I solved a 10 year flaring problem on a on offshore platform by simply adding two orifice plates to stabilise the control over two parallel compressors.
