I like finding solutions to problems by using any multiple of available resources. When brainstorming ideas I usually start exploring the topic by reading books, flipping through magazines or surfing the internet. I do a lot of daydreaming on the topic - keeping a problem at the surface allows cross referencing for a solution against every day observations during the day. This can lead to innovations in unusual ways.

- I have made both marketing and advertising solutions for local business. Using unique methods and techniques to redirect a lack of interest from potential customers and clients and provided the necessary innovations to have successfully made a difference.
- I have a back ground in the arts and am involved in artistic solutions for design oriented problems. This is one of my own side business, making expressive art that captures the requirements of my clients using digital multimedia and or conventional methods. Solutions are made using "problem-solving" from a designers point of view in every project I encounter.
- As an employee of a large optical corporation, I have been put to the test to make decisions for solving altercations in the operation process daily. I am called on to achieve very tight precision tolerances in the product. The need to innovate solutions to meet and maintain these requirements for our customers is my job. I work on exotic lens materials and have made many new machine setup improvisations to achieve the desired results. Finished tolerance of radius requirments can be as small as 1 and 2 fringes.
