Milind Sakhalkar's Problem Solving Experience:
- M/S. German Remedies India ltd. Had one Product in capsule form. They wanted to put a small tablet in to a capsule and fill powder thereafter in to the same capsule. They had a semi automatic capsule filling machine for filling powder only.
This machine was giving them 540 capsules per minut. They wanted a divice which will not disturb the present setting of the machine and production rate. I studied the case tharoughly and I found that inthe process of production there is an idle time of 16 seconds in each cycle of one minut for operator &machine at filling station. I have designed the device for filling 540 tablets in 7 seconds only without any arear. All this I have done by fallowing GMP.
