I designed and constructed a Scanning UV LED phototherapy unit.The UV LED phototherapy unit employed a minimum of LEDs. To cover enough surface area for the patient, the radiation was scanned by up and down with the aid of a polygonal reflector. The intensity of the emitted radiation and the scanning speeds could be varied using a potentiometer (variable resistor).
