I designed and developed a product which enables blind students from developing countries to make drawings and sketches. I used locally available materials and fundamentals of geometry to design this product. I devised a 'tactile magnifier' which helps the blind to measure length to the accuracy of 1mm and angle to 1 degree. The 'tactile magnifier' is a simple and highly effective component of this product. We received an Indian patent for this product. This product has been widely recognized in schools for the blind in India.
