Stan Prybyla's Problem Solving Experience:

  1. I am currently assisting a company that does pyrolysis of waste plastic to synthetic crude oil, helping to move them from pilot scale to commercial production.
  2. I developed and optimized the performance of a high temperature polymer that is currently flying in numerous commercial aircraft engines. It is also on aircraft brakes and rotorcraft rotor brakes.
  3. I developed an interface materials to prevent ceramic matrix composites from undergoing brittle fracture.
  4. I developed a polyimide resin coating to extend the life of polyimide matrix composites by up to 50% (2 patents)
  5. I am currently running a start-up nanotechnology development business. The business has had 2 contracts. I have developed a solar energy conversion film that converts ultraviolet light into visible light.
  6. I co-developed a high thermal conductivity low electrical conductivity adhesive for use in aircraft de-icing products (patent applied for)
  7. I developed an approach for lowering the cost and speeding up the processing of carbon-carbon aircraft brakes.
  8. I have been sub-contractor or consultant to multiple Department of Defense SBIR programs.
  9. I have consulted successfully for 7 years and have had more than 10 clients, with multiple requests for repeat business.
  10. I have over 25 years of aerospace experience. I have been a program manager, research manager, and have written winning proposals. I have assisted in the management of million dollar (per annum) research programs.
