I been trained in Leadership Strategies (www.leadstrat.com) Effective Facilitation training and have been using their tools and techniques to facilitate sessions such as business analysis requirements gathering, business process improvements and general problem solving. I find that in my current position as project management in a project with very right timelines I am using my skills daily to find ways to overcome barriers and find creative ways to address problems that come up with our software and in our processes.

I have also attended several webinars on the topic of remote facilitation of meetings.

I have been using facilitation skills on my job since I was a software development team lead in 2000 and continue now as a senior project manager.

Although I do not yet have experience being an active member in one of your forums I would definitely be open to training on the job. I am not afraid to try something new as change is what I do for a living in every project I take on.

I have been responsible for hosting and facilitating status meetings and design review sessions and other group discussions with remote software vendors since 2008.
