Alaa Elbetany

I am an academic and industrial research chemist/scientist with fourteen years of extensive research experience (R&D, consultation, management, and supervision) in preparing and accelerating new organic and polymeric materials discovery. I am passionate about leading and managing research projects with the supervision of junior scientists, problem-solving, entrepreneurship, IP impacts transfer, commercialization, and converting technology. My main research interest is discovering new smart, functional materials for various industrial and environmental challenges (polymer formulations, oil & gas recovery, water treatment, and pollution) and biomedical applications (drug discovery & delivery, diagnosis, medical devices and regenerative medicine) to provide innovative products and solutions for a better future life.
