Amila Kumarasiri's Problem Solving Experience:
• Completed a “Proximate Analysis Results of Nutritive Value of Pinna nobilis Found in Mannar Sea Meadows in Sri Lanka” (Group Mini Project-2011)
• Abstract published in the 3rd International Symposium, 2010, held in the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (1st Author) “Design and fabrication of a low temperature and low pressure (vacuum) Evaporation system for Liquid food industry (Specially milk) “(Funded by IRQUE Project- 2009/2010). This innovation has applied for the patent.
• Developed an “Improvement and fabrication of a low temperature and low pressure (vacuum) Dehydration system for Solid food industry” (Individual Mini Project-2011)
• Final year project on “Impact of selected herbs and spices on sensory and microbial properties of heat treated milk beverage”- Kothmale Holding PLC, New town, Mullariawa. Abstract was selected for publishment in the 4th International Symposium, 2012, hold in the Sabaragamuwa University of Sri Lanka (1st Author).
