1. - I determined that mestome sheaths in various potosynthetic types of grasses do not have the same function as mestome sheaths in plant roots
   - I identified and characterized plant proteins associated with self-incompatibility using electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE and IEF)
   - I developed a long-term storage system for plant somatic embryos by controlled embryo dessication and storage at -80oC as project lead for the development and implementation of a research program on spruce synthetic seedling delivery systems and process improvements for commercialization.
   - I participated in the team developing embryo sowing methods compatible with commercial methods (two patents)
