I am working on ruminal parasites which involves more understanding on the effect of herbal drugs on veterinary parasites. Phytochemical analysis of herbal drugs becomes an essential prerequisite to analyse its effect on the parasites. Thin layer chromatography(TLC), gas chromatography is employed to identify the specific phytochemical that acts on helminths. TLC requires more of trial and error method to separate the compounds purely.
