I currently work on the regulation of necroptosis downstream of RIP1 kinase, using biochemistry and proteomics. Necroptosis is a programmed necrosis cell death pathway prevalent under various pathological conditions, including ischemic brain injury, multiple sclerosis, glaucoma, infection, inflammation and cancer. I'm also interested in understanding the mechanism of RIP1 kinase activation and complex transition downstream of TNFalpha.
