Biniyam Kassa's Problem Solving Experience:

  1. I helped an international developmental organization in designing solutions to tackle the working capital challenges faced by the private sector engaged in the off-grid solar energy products distribution in Ethiopia. Solutions include private sector driven innovative supply chain interventions, as well as donor and government led financial sector reform initiatives and business model innovations that together address the working capital challenge from both the finance demand and supply sides, thereby realizing the benefits of synergy.
  2. I helped A bank improve their performance by redesigning their organization structure in line with a shift in their strategy.
  3. I supported the leadership of a large association to be able to come to resolution to tackle a widely felt but less understood and not clearly defined failure in fulfilling the association's fundamental purpose by facilitating a structured problem solving and visioning activity that allowed the team to come to agreement around fundamental issues and a new set of goals and objectives and strategic directions for the association.
