- I have 12 patents relating to the design of medical devices and the use of RF energy to seal tissue.
- I am principal engineer and owner of a consulting firm that has solved difficult problems in aerospace, medical devices, marine biology, submersible vehicles, unmanned drones, high power UV and IR light devices, bicycle design, precise flow sensors, multi-protocol industrial testing, computer vision, optical testing, and many other industries that give me a unique problem-solving perspective.
- As an example of my leadership skill; I lead a multidisciplinary team over the course of four years to develop a submersible vehicle that uses invisible IR light and other methods to penetrate murky water to capture images of fish passing through a net. The system utilizes computer vision to determine the species of each fish passing through, the water quality, depth, gps and other information and correlate that to each object passing through. The entire device is custom machined, custom circuitry, and developed fully by myself and my team.
