Fundi Nzimande's Problem Solving Experience:

1. I have 23 years experience in education, community development and labour policy and legislation. I have participated in the International Labour Confernce and have been part of developing international labour standards. I was appointed by the Minister of Labour to serve in the Commission for employment equity. I have received an award from SADTU for service to the organisation. I introduced the gender budget and the gender and the HIV policy to the organisation. I have worked at NALEDI where I managed the climate change project, conducted research on this and developed education and was party to deeloping the climate change policy for the labour movement. I have conducted research on participatory budgeting and trained communities on participatory budgeting from a South African perspective. I have written articles for publication e.g. for the ISTR (www.istr.org).
