- I developed a way of acurately measuring the valve gap on a cylinder head for an engine on a production line that resulted in a design change to all existing engines to improve the accuracy of the tappet selection and resultant valve gap.
- I have led a six sigma project in finding an intermittent fault with a fuel pump leak on a new project. The findings of the project using the sigma tools resulted in a change to the manufacture of the fuel pumps to give a more robust design.
