Instead, I do a literature search to see what's been done in a particular area and I put two or three things together to form one new idea and solution to the presented problem

- I develop analytical chemistry methods daily for the identification and quantification of polymers and surfactants present in complicated pesticide/insecticide formulations.
- I wrote a proposal that would allow one to use a lateral flow dipstick (such as a pregnancy test) that contained antibodies conjugated to gold nanoparticles for the detection of ureaplasma in urine.
