Areas Koen Van de moortel is Knowledgeable in:

I have a broad knowledge of many things, from college mathematics & physics to psychology, from linguistics to astrology & parapsychology research, from mineralogy to photography, from Delphi Pascal programming to electronics, from sociology to vegetarian cooking... Just don't ask me anything about soccer.

Koen Van de moortel's Problem Solving Skills:

  1. Math tutoring
  2. experiment methodology
  3. regression analysis (mathematical modeling)
  4. Delphi programming

Koen Van de moortel's Problem Solving Experience:

  1. I wrote a book about pattern recognition and brainwashing (in Flemish, see: www.lerenisplezant.be/patroonherkenning.htm), 2020.
  2. I made mathematical models to predict chemical properties from spectral data (1998).
  3. I made software (in BASIC) to draw crystals with the first pocket computers (1985).
  4. I wrote software to do statistical testing of astrological claims (in Delphi Pascal), called 'Radix' (see: www.astrovdm.com/Radix5EN.htm), ca.1990-2010, and I tested some of these claims myself.
  5. I made software (in Delphi Pascal) for psychology tests (1995).
  6. I wrote software (in Delphi Pascal) to learn the serbian language (2002-2011).
  7. I improved the methodology to extract spectral data from satellite images (1990).
  8. I improved algorithms for the calibration of medical strip scanners (1999).
  9. I designed and built alarm systems and an instrument to measure the amount of charge in an electrolysis (1979-1983).
  10. I invented an improvement to the least squares regression method ('multidirectional regression'), which I implemented in a program called 'FittingKVdm' (see: www.lerenisplezant.be/fitting.htm), 2021.
Using this method I can explain for example why researchers were wrong about the Body Mass Index for 200 years: it should be m/h³ instead of m/h², just like physical laws predicted.
