Liam Fletcher's Problem Solving Experience:
- I developed a piece of scuba diving safety equipment that launches from depth and informs the emergency surfaces of a casualty underwater who is surfacing. The purpose being it only takes 60 seconds for brain damage to occur with lack of oxygen; underwater it can take 5 minutes to reach the surface, plus waiting time for medics. The product shortened that wait as the medics are already onsite by the time the casualty surfaced.
