Techniques Mahmoud Gabr Uses:

Brainstorming: I enjoy gathering ideas from multiple sources and exploring all possible solutions. When facing a challenge, I like to gather a diverse group of people or perspectives to come up with a wide range of potential solutions.

Research: I believe in the power of information and like to gather as much relevant data as possible before making a decision. I might spend a significant amount of time researching and analyzing a problem, so that I can fully understand it and come up with the best solution.

Creative thinking: I like to think outside of the box and come up with unique solutions to problems. I might employ techniques such as lateral thinking or mind mapping to help generate new ideas.

Test and learn: I believe in taking an iterative approach to problem-solving, trying out different solutions and learning from the results. I might start with a small-scale experiment or prototype before committing to a full-scale solution.

Collaboration: I enjoy working with others to solve problems and believe that multiple perspectives can lead to better solutions. I might seek out input from others or work in a team to tackle a challenge.

Mahmoud Gabr's Problem Solving Experience:

  1. I have several experiences solving significant problems in the areas of scientific research and quality control. As a research intern at CRI Paris, I was part of a team that tackled the challenge of developing and optimizing CRISPR technologies as a tool for multiplex genome editing in fruit flies. My role involved conducting research using multiple molecular biology techniques, building plasmid constructs expressing CRISPR-Cas proteins and RNA, and utilizing Benchling Software for molecular biology design and analysis. Through our work, we were able to achieve efficient and targeted genome editing in fruit flies, which has significant implications for genetic research and disease modeling.

In my role as a Quality Control Lab Specialist at Juhayna Food Industries, I was responsible for analyzing fruit juices for chemical and microbiological factors to ensure they met quality standards.
