1. The term leadership is usually defined as “the action of leading a group of people or an organization.” I define leadership as a process in which an individual helps others succeed and achieve a common goal. Success is attained through unity and cooperation with one another. A person who leads a person or group of people into the path of achievement is a good leader. A leader, who expresses positive attitude, is able to direct others successfully to reach a unified goal. He or she stands up for his or her own cause while motivating others to succeed.
   I view myself as a leader. Helping others and being an active member in my community are really important tasks to me. Throughout my freshman and sophomore years in Woodrow Wilson High School (2013-2014 and 2014-2016), I volunteered at the Washington National Cathedral tutoring students ages 5-12.
