Marvin de los Santos's Problem Solving Experience:

  1. I was involved in a project that does the cloning and recombinant expression of different human-derived growth factors.
  2. I became primary research scientist in a group who aims to chimerize and humanize therapeutic antibodies.
  3. I was part of a team generating cancer-directed antibody using hybridoma technique. Targets include, CD20, CD25, PD-1 and PDL-1.
  4. Deal with establishing chemoresistant cancer cell line for discovery of new lines of chemodrugs.
  5. I isolated surfactant-producing bacteria and developed a purification technique to obtain maximum yield of the compound (surfactants).
  6. I made a research report and analyzed the effect of monosodium glutamate (MSG) on the growth of the bone.
  7. I dealt with the determination of the effect of caffeinated coffee on blood glucose level.
  8. I worked on the isolation of oil-degrading bacteria and determining their bioremediation potential.
  9. I have analyzed the biofuel potential of the different developmental stages of a certain species of bamboo (Bambusa vulgaris).
  10. Plant tissue culture of abaca, pineapple and orchids for industrial purposes.
  11. Generation of 3 lines of chimeric antigen receptor T (CAR-T) cells for treatment of hematologic and solid tumors.
