Melinda Upton's Problem Solving Experience:

1. I have helped to plan several unique weddings/ an alice and wonderland themed wedding, an evening wedding that was lit entirely by candlelight and had flying/floating lanterns the guests released, a garden wedding for an eco friendly couple, and was approached by an author and literary professor who's daughter wanted a unique wedding idea and suggested and planned a wedding where the couple/bridal party as well as the guests dressed as or brought an item reflecting a favorite literary piece.
2. have helped with fabrication and designs for vintage car restorations when hard to get parts were not available as well as researched hard to find parts getting new resources to obtain the parts. Offered creative design solutions for car restorations on projects where the client wanted a unique looking vehicle for example a client who fabricated a car hauler out of a 1966 for van to haul his top fuel race car wanted suggestions on the interior, I suggested he use the same patterned metal used on the buggati car line on the instrument panel as well as the door panels and suggested using a metal plating with the team name etched onto the metal on the roof as opposed to the traditional headliners used in vehicles I suggested also that they leave enough blank space on the metal to apply sponsor stickers.

I have helped my husband in his automotive repair business and grew up in the auto repair business as my father owned and operated a full service Chevron station and repair shop. through this area of my life I have assisted on vehicle repair issues such as the 700r4 transmission which has several issues that I helped to research and came up with a way to incorporate several things to rebuild a transmission that uses several generations of transmission parts.
