My disciplines of study were - Botany and Business Management. I also hold certificates and awards in horticulture and commercial floristry specializing in Japanese art of flower arranging – Ikebana at the Sogetsu School.
• Followed a training course titled Women Entrepreneur Trainer-Motivator’s Programme for New Enterprise Creation (Certificate Course) at the Entrepreneur Development Institute Ahmadabad.
• Participated in a Symposium on Management & Productivity Enhancement New Approaches conducted by the Asian Productivity Organization of Japan, held in Dhaka, Bangladesh.
• Completed a Certificate course – Analysis & Planning “Look after your firm” conducted by the Swedish International Development Agency for members of the Women’s Chamber of Industry & Commerce.
• Attended a month long workshop on Cross Cultural Business Negotiations in Beijing conducted by PRODEC – Helsinki School of Economics & Business Administration, Helsinki, Finland, in co-operation with the International Federation of Business and Professional Women (IFBPW), China International Trade Research & Training Centre for Asia and the Pacific Region (RTC), Beijing, China with support of the International Trade Centre (ITC) UNCTAD/GATT, Geneva, Switzerland, financed by the Government of Finland.
• Followed a Certificate course in Landscape Garden Design and layout with an Australian Landscape Company.
