As a Product Developer, I worked out every detail for the new and patent-pending "Smoothie Delivery Vending System", a device which will allow customers to pick their own ingredients (fruits or vegetables, proteins, and vitamins) for their own delicious smoothie. Basically, it's a nutritious, custom vending machine for smoothies.
The front includes a touchscreen, where you can see and pick your own ingredients; the inside contains control circuitry and replaceable cartridges of the frozen fruits, veggies, proteins, kale, etc. Some versions will even include shots of coffee products or energy drinks, if desired by the customers.
How it works: a plastic cup drops and your ingredients follow, mixed together by an ice-cold high-speed mixing unit. The whole process would take no more than 15 seconds. Instant gratification and custom made natural drinks (not pre-made, nor one size fits all!). The mixing unit gets flushed after every application to ensure a clean and fresh start with every drink.
