Robert Boudreau's Problem Solving Experience:
- I developed a method (co-authored a patent in publication) to dissolve bitumen from oil sand, and flush it to the surface using in-situ leach mining methods; while at the same time removing/preventing the asphaltene from plugging up the pore spaces in the underground matrix. This may also be used to prevent plugging in pipelines.
