  6. As client Partner to a diversified $20bn Indian multinational Group, its group companies and joint-venture partners including major manufacturing and financial services. Growth and mining of business accounts with delivery oversight (revenue and profitability responsibilities).
  7. Create and implement an India strategy that fits in the Groups’ business plans and generates value for the global IT organization. The strategy proposed a mixed approach of insourcing and outsourcing, creating a global-standard R&D center, and leveraging India’s “cost and quality” advantages to provide technology re-engineering with targeted bottom-line benefits. The Travelex Board expectation from this strategic plan was also to generate significant value for the Group for its IPO/ M&A plan (Travelex was acquired in 2005 by Apax Partners for approx. USD2 bn).
