Sten Schuler

Sten Schuler is a patent attorney practicing in the chemical and material arts. Sten previously worked at a start-up company where served in dual roles as a corporate attorney and an optoelectronics R&D lab manager. He has prior industry experience in petroleum refining, mining, materials thermoforming, and circuit board manufacturing, and research experience that includes biofuels, chemical reaction catalysis, optoelectronics, and polymer material science. He also worked pro bono on a trademark infringement suit for a not-for-profit corporation.

He received his undergraduate degree from Michigan Technological University, College of Engineering (B.S.,cum laude, Chemical Engineering, 2009) and his law degree from Hamline University School of Law (J.D. 2012), with a certificate in business law.
