Areas Tushnik Goswami is Knowledgeable in:

Chemical Engineering, Effluent Treatment, Optimisations using Lean Six Sigma, Waste Management, Alternative Energy Explorations, Sustainable Developments, Process Engineering, Process Optimisations, Reaction Engineering, Chemical Process Technologies, Computer Aided Process Control, Fuel Technology, Process and Equipment Design, Transport Phenomena, Fluid Dynamics

Techniques Tushnik Goswami Uses:

I usually refer to the research papers first and study on the present researches on that particular area.
The next step is to refer to any material or topics that will help me understand any topic that has been discussed in the researches and I am unaware of it.
Then I construct a basic network of possible factors and firstly predict how certain factors might influence the result.
Then I construct an experimental process with the combinations of factors.
Finally I analyse using One Factor At a Time method to study factor wise study and study and synergising or annealing factors and optimise the process.
This concludes the process and gives a solution that can be optimised with time

Tushnik Goswami's Problem Solving Experience:

  1. I have developed a novel technique for a company as part of my project at Uni that was initially aimed towards treatment of a particular effluent and make it suitable for ETP.
The results were so good that the aim shifted towards making profits form the treated solution and have recently wrapped up the project with recovering around 55% raw materials from the waste that can be reused or sold. Received appreciation from the company head office in Germany.
  2. Developed a Bio Digester with the least possible budget of around INR 1000 and which is portable. The major challenge however was to make on which can work in low temperatures. I was successful in making several by using some chemicals that help reducing the incubating period and giving good results at low temperatures thus reducing the footprints on Himalayas.
  3. Developed a method for Salt Free Dyeing for a Textile Industry that completely eliminates the use of salt in the process thus giving the ability to reuse the same solution and increase profits at the same time as we eliminate the usage of salt the waste water treatment process becomes easier and so does the environmental impact.
