For many years now I have been experimenting, researching, studying and building proto models of an electricity generator that is self sustainable. Over the years I have narrowed down my focus to a unit just big enough to supply a single house hold with its basic electricity requirements.
The self sustainable electricity generator is a combination of old and new technology’s where all the workings of this machine are tried and tested theories. By that I don’t mean that a new technology driving system is used to drive an old technology generator, but rather that old and new technologies are blended into a single unit so that the driving force becomes the generator.
The main driving force of the generator is based on the Flywheel theory. It is common knowledge that a large spinning wheel requires very little energy to maintain this momentum, especially if the wheel is weighted and balanced around the periphery and the friction is reduced at the axial or hub.
The hub of the wheel is so designed to become an inverted electric motor where the rotor (or what would have been the rotor) now becomes the stator and is stationary and the stator is now the rotor. (Technology used in electric bicycle)
This hub motor has the advantage of reducing any drag or friction that would have been caused by an external motor and gear box. A surge of power will be required to start the motor turning but once the wheel is spinning very little energy or power is required to maintain this momentum. This very efficient, low voltage hub motor is specially designed; it has roller bearings and is brushless to further reduce drag and friction.
The electric generating side of this system is based on a number of theories such as wind power, brushless Inverted motor/generator systems, transformers and electronics. But before any further details are revealed and before we can attempt any discussion concerning the actual workings of the self sustainable generator. And even although, the idea enjoys provisional patent rights, I would first require a signed confidentiality agreement, so as not to diminish the novelty of the idea which is the basis for any patent rights.
It is pretty obvious the benefits and advantages this self sustainable generator would bring to millions of people all over the world, especially Africa and India, people who have no lights, refrigeration, heating, television or radio, and all the other things, associated with basic electricity that most of us take for granted, but there are even more advantages that will come about. It is also completely environmentally friendly as it does not use any variation of fuel, gas or coal. It is completely independent of any specific nature condition as it does not require wind, water, sun or fire. It will not emit any form of toxic gas or other harmful substance into the atmosphere. By supplying people with self sustainable electricity will result in less coal, oil and atomic energy being required. This in turn will result in less mining, less pollution, less air pollution, less noise pollution and the list goes on.
Extensive experimenting, model building and research has taken place over the years but there still remains a massive amount of detailed design and calculations that need to be done. The majority of these design features can only be done by experts in the particular fields Take for instance the hub motor one that is specifically suited for this purpose will require, the exact RPM’s using just enough energy to maintain momentum but at the same time have enough power to start the wheel turning. The generating system requires design features such as strength, size and number of magnets, Number of coils required, thickness of copper wire, number of turns per coil and so on.
To be able to take this project to the next step financing for proper design and finalizing the patent rights is required. (SA Provisional Patent No 2007/05643)
My dream at this stage is to teem up with someone that is an expert in this field or to find someone with the finances so that these expertises can be purchased
