Full Description:
Though the Storage type HEPPs are generally free from the menace of silt except for the rainy season, yet these are not altogether immune from the problem of trash.

To help HEPPs to cope with this twin evil of silt and trash a very very simple shield has been designed, which when installed at the water intake tunnels will completely ward off the entry of trash into the tunnels and also limit the silt entering therein.
