Sen.se claims to have “reinvented mothers” with their own Mother—a cheery device that communicates with a number of sensors to detect and understand the movements of people and objects.
The sensors, called Cookies, can be assigned to a variety of tasks, including monitoring physical activity, lowering the thermostat if no one is home and sending a reminder to water the plants. The Cookies send the data wirelessly to the Mother and each other, and can be easily changed to adapt to a new need. The information is displayed in a non-threatening, easy-to-read format, and the company has plans to continue creating apps and grow the Mother family.
The Mother was named an Honoree of the 2014 CES Innovations Design and Engineering Awards.
