Abiotherm Brings Weather to Virtual Reality

Feb-21-17 The Abiotherm invention takes virtual reality to a new level by letting users ‘feel’ the weather.

Developed by the same team that used electrodes to add a sweet taste to VR, the Ambiotherm is made up of two units that attach to the standard VR headset. One module delivers the feeling of wind in the face with its pair of fans, while the other sits at the back of the neck to simulate heat.
