Air-In Shower Makes Water Droplets Larger

Air-In Shower Makes Water Droplets Larger
Dec-17-12
The detachable Air-In Shower system saves water and energy by filling the water droplets with air to make them larger.

The system, developed by TOTO in 2010, draws air in through the shower head to enlarge the water droplets and increase their volume, giving the sensation of using more water than is actually being consumed. In early 2013, the Air-In Shower will be available as a detachable, stand-alone product, with choices including the shower head alone or a unit including a hose with a button to control the water flow.

The company estimates that the device could save a family of four up to $180 annually in gas and water bills.
