AspireAssist Ejects Food from the Stomach to Promote Weight Loss
Jun-16-16
The AspireAssist helps to promote weight loss by removing the food from the stomach before the nutrients can be absorbed.

Created by AsprieBariatrics the AspireAssist recently received FDA approval, and is meant for extremely obese patients with no history of eating disorders. The system consists of a small tube inserted in the stomach that connects to a flat, round port valve that lays flush against the outside of the body. About thirty minutes after the meal has been consumed, the patient attaches the external connector to the port valve and empties the remaining stomach contents into a toilet.
