The John Deere Tango E5 is able to mow almost 20,000 square feet on one battery charge, returning automatically to its charging station when its power is low. It navigates by use of a boundary wire installed at the edges of the garden or flowerbeds and will back away from obstacles on the lawn, such as trees or plant containers.
