Bag Buddy Helps Bikers Handle Bags

Dec-29-12 The Bag Buddy clips onto the handlebars of bicycle, making carrying groceries and other shopping bags easier and safer.

Created by Nicholas Fjellberg Swerdlowe of Brooklyn, New York, the Bag Buddy is a simple plastic clamp with hooks on either end that slips onto the handlebars. The hooks change the orientation of grocery bags so they will swing back and forth instead of side to side, preventing them from hitting the front wheel, and the weight of the bags tightens the clamps around the handlebars. The Bag Buddy also frees up handlebar space and provides more space for knee movement by localizing the bags at the ends.

The Bag Buddy is currently seeking funding on Kickstarter.
