Bailos Wearable Tracks Horse Performance

Nov-05-15 Designed for aspiring equestrians, the Bailos fitness tracker attaches to a horse’s saddle to monitor the animal’s health and performance.

Created by the startup Equisense for use during training, the Bailos attaches to the girth of just about any saddle, where it monitors the animal’s form and motion to early warning signs of potential issues. The Bailos can also track the rider’s performance, gathering ride data and offering performance objectives to help riders meet their goals. The collected data is sent to paired smartphone for review by riders as well as veterinarians.
