A sort of parachute for GoPro cameras, the Birdie invention offers an affordable way to capture aerial photographs by allowing the user to simply toss the camera into the air.
The Birdie promises to make your camera fly, and it will at least allow it fall very slowly. The kit is made up of a cushioned base that holds the GoPro camera and attaches by six arms to a parachute. Once the camera is in place and set on video or continuous shooting mode, the user can toss the Birdie into air, where it will capture the scene below as it drifts back to earth.
