Braun Non-Invasive Forehead Thermometer

Braun Non-Invasive Forehead Thermometer
Dec-21-13
The Braun Forehead thermometer lets parents check their child’s temperature from their forehead, eliminating the hassles of oral and ear thermometers.

The forehead thermometer is equipped with infrared technology that allows it to measure the temperature of the skin above the head’s temporal artery. To use, the thermometer is placed on the forehead and then swept back and forth toward the temple while pressing gently on the skin. The multiple readings are then processed by a proprietary algorithm into a single value.

The Forehead thermometer also includes a backlit, color-coded display that will give a quick fever alert.

I guess one of the most effective type of thermometer out there because of the fact that it is non-contact and does not contaminate people that are surrounding a person with an illness just because they hold the thermometer.

For those who may have undertaken a little research, you may have noticed that Braun, the company to that embraced infrared technology also manufactures an FHT1000 forehead thermometer. The great thing about this thermometer is just how simple it is to use to take temperature measurements. It has an ergonomically designed handle and it allows temperature measurements to be recorded in less than three seconds.

Another great feature of the FHT1000 is the color coding of the display screen. Once a measurement has been taken, the display provides instant fever detection with a green screen indicating ‘no fever’, a yellow screen indicating a slightly higher temperature, and a red color showing the presence of fever.
