Bucketlights Combine Light and Plants

Feb-24-14 The Bucketlight hanging plant pots from designer Roderick Vos provide light and greenery in a compact space, ideal for offices or urban apartments.

The Bucketlights are made of cast aluminum and are equipped with an LED light in the base of each pot. The lights are powered by a reinforced electrical cable, which is also used to hang the plant from the ceiling.

The designer also created a variation of the Bucketlight, called the Powercube. This variant features a powercord that is attached to the pot and reaches down to the table or desk, providing a new source of power and eliminating tangled masses of cords.
