Build Your Own Electric Car

Jul-17-12 The Pius from Modi-Corp is a DIY micro electric car, and can be registered as a motorized bicycle in Japan.

The single-seat Pius measures about 98 inches long and 48 inches wide, with a top speed of 21 mph and a range of 15 miles. It is intended for use in colleges and mechanic schools in order to give students hands-on experience in the functioning of electric cars. The Pius will be available in six colors, and is scheduled for release in Japan in spring of 2013.
