Hailed as the first-ever wearable lactate sensor, the BXinsight pairs with a smartphone or smartwatch to deliver real-time lactate readings. The sensor module is equipped with an LED array and light detector and fits in the purpose-built cuff, which is worn around the calf. As the LED shines light onto the muscle tissue, the reflected light is analyzed by the detector to determine the lactate level within the muscle.
