Nov-14-16 The CapsoCam Plus four-camera, swallowable endoscope has received FDA clearance to make its journey through the small intestine.

Developed by CapoVision, the CapsoCam Plus is able to capture 360° images of the small intestine as it passes through the body. The CapsoCam Plus is the first capsule endoscope system that does not require the patient to wear any receiver equipment—rather, the device is simply fished out of the patient's stool, and the images retrieved and downloaded to a computer.
